Consideration of both the NGSS and
Environmental Education Guidelines can help teacher educators prepare K–12
teachers who are developing environmental curricula that humanize and
democratize education for all K–12 students by being inclusive, anti-racist, and
working to achieve equity and sustainability for all
communities.
