Transform student talk into powerful science learning. Join us on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM ET. for an interactive web seminar exploring how OpenSciEd's Scientist Circles routine strengthens student discourse, deepens scientific reasoning, and builds a classroom community where every student's thinking contributes to collective sensemaking.
Through classroom examples and practical strategies, you'll explore the purpose and structure of Scientist Circles and learn how to facilitate meaningful discussions that move student thinking forward. Discover how to use this routine to support sensemaking, encourage productive collaboration, and help students develop evidence-based explanations.
All individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.
We invite you to register for upcoming web seminars at NSTA.
