Web Seminar

Join us on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM ET, to learn about renewable energy sources and celebrate Earth Day 2025.

The global energy demand has increased nearly exponentially in the last century and is projected to increase at a similar rate in the future. Yet the finite qualities of fossil fuels and CO2 emissions make many non-renewable energy sources (including coal, natural gas, and oil) unreliable in fulfilling the global energy demands.

In this web seminar, participants will learn about the shortcomings of current non-renewable and renewable energy sources, as well the grand challenges required to make nuclear fusion a large-scale, clean, abundant, and controllable source of energy for the future.

All individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.

We invite you to register for upcoming web seminars at NSTA.
