What is inside our sun and other stars? What fills up the interstellar space? What is lightning? Trying to answer similar questions that come to the curious mind expanded our understanding of what happens to matter at high enough temperatures, which led us to the wonderful world of plasma physics.

In this web seminar, we shall get a glimpse into this omnipresent, but still "not-yet-so-popular" field of plasma physics that connects the farthest objects of our observable universe to our efforts of making a "sun on earth," all the way to how cell phones are built.

All individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.
