We invite you to check out the first session of the Science and Engineering Practices: Professional Book Study for Elementary Teachers.  Please join the first session of the professional book study based on the NSTA Press book Helping Students Make Sense of the World Using Next Generation Science and Engineering Practices. Helping Students Make Sense of the World Using Next Generation Science and Engineering Practices provides a description of the practices, written in clear, nontechnical language.

Elementary school teachers working to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the Science and Engineering Practices from A Framework for K-12 Science Education, the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), or your state’s new three-dimensional science standards will not want to miss this seminar. Attending this seminar is a great way to determine if the NSTA professional book study fits into your personal professional learning goals.

All individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.

We invite you to register for upcoming web seminars at NSTA.
