Hello everyone, my name is Edith Cervantes, and hopefully, by next year I will become a teacher. My question is what are the most important things to prioritize as a first-year teacher?

Congratulations on becoming a teacher! It's a very rewarding profession.

If I had to pick one thing to prioritize, I'd say classroom management. Depending on the grade level, you can have students set positive expectations with your guidance. Be consistant and fair to all equally.
