Hello, my main questions are regarding behavior and communication. How do you effectively maintain a positive environment in the classroom while managing student behavior? Also, what are some tips you may have when it comes to communicating with parents and other teachers regarding student progress?
I believe that in order to maintain a positive classroom environment while maintaining student behavior, the educator must remain calm and not engage in any negativity that students may bring upon themselves or to thier peers. When it comes to communicating with parents, I would make it a habit to report positive feedback as well as any concerns I may have for the student. There has to be a balance and understanding that not all phone calls or meetings with a teacher are presumed to be negative.
