Nicole,
You may find the following items of interest.
ArtPlantae - This was my previous endeavor. I spent many years as the full-time editor, educator, and bookseller of a resource serving artists, naturalists, and educators pursuing interests in botany, botanical art, and environmental education in formal and informal learning environments. Its principal goal was to encourage an interest in plants through art, science, and interpretation. The core resource site can be viewed online at https://www.artplantae.com. I used to interview artists, naturalists, and educators and write a teaching and learning column. My recommendation is to use the search field or enter 'teaching and learning' or click on the 'Teaching & Learning' tag in a post.
One interdisciplinary resource that comes to mind is 'Alphabet of the Trees: A Guide to Nature Writing.'
Talaterra - This is my current endeavor. I have spent many years working independently and meeting other independent environmental education (EE) professionals who connect the public with the outdoors. Talaterra is all about these independent professionals. The initiatives that might be of interest to you are the podcast (where I host conversations with independent professionals, researchers, and others) and the EE Forward Summit. Summits take an interdisciplinary approach to a chosen topic and invited speakers are (mostly) independent professionals and founders of initiatives whose work addresses the chosen topic in some way. The first Summit will occur next week and is about Water. There will be conversations about water literacy, watersheds, assessing educators' perspectives on environmental education, regenerative agriculture, online programs about amphibian conservation, interpreting place through sound, documenting place using the senses, and storytelling. Summits are intended to be partnership-building events to bring attention to what is happening in communities. If you're interested, please contact me through the Contact page on the website.
