As educators, we have strengths and weaknesses when it comes to our teachings. There are multiple resources available that will help prepare you to create lessons in science. The SciPacks in the NSTA website provides videos and resources that help you teach and understand the topic you are planning to teach. There are also professional developments available to help teach STEM and science. One advice that helped me the most was observing other teachers. You get to visualize how they incorporate concepts into the lesson.
It takes time, but you will find confidence in teaching science! Good luck!
