I think I saw a post here about a teacher who created a river ecosystem in his classroom. He used pegboard and 2-liter bottles that snaked down to a large 100-gallon water tank. There were filters and tubes to keep the water moving continuously. He used this in a multitude of ways and the students would create scenarios to test (oil spill, erosion, pollution). If anyone has any information about how to build it, I'd greatly appreciate it. My school computer has been reimaged... :(
