I am currently working on becoming a licensed teacher. Science is such an exciting subject for me, and I am can't wait to be able to share and encourage this excitement with my future students. What are some recommended sources online or books that will help with finding age appropriate ideas for creating lesson plans?
Hello! I'm Kayla and I too am a pre-service teacher. I am currently in a Science Methods course so I've been learning a lot about different resources and ways to teach science. One website that we use in my class a lot is nextgenscience.org. This website has the science standards, the three dimensions, a resource library and much more that can be helpful with creating lesson plans! I also just taught for my Level Three field experience in a 6th grade science class and created an interactive slideshow using nearpod.com. This is a great website to use to teach different science topics and integrate activities in that students really seem to enjoy. I hope this helps!
