Hello all, I am almost nearing my student teaching experience. I would like to know how I as a future educator can ensure I am meeting bilingual students' needs when teaching science content.
Hello Irene, the best way is to know your students, observe their progress and behavior. You will be spending a large amount of time with them and many of the children have habits that show they are having trouble with the content. For example, when they began providing attention to other sources, they may need help. It is also important that you research resources bilingual students can use, they may need accomodations to complete assigments.
