Hi Ashley,
I found some resources with ideas of ways to teach about plant processes in new and (hopefully) exciting ways. This first one explains how to assist students in choosing a variable for a plant to see if they will still grow:

The second resource has a few activities revolving around plants including leaves, seeds, how plants take in water, and soil:

Do you think you'll be able to implement any of these into your kindergarten class? If so, let us know which and how it goes! I also hope that other Early Childhood educators can include some of their favorite lessons about plant processes below or as a reply!
