Hello!
I am a graduate student working towards a Masters in Teaching with a focus on special education. I am looking for suggestions for science experiments for the Kindergarten age range. Do you have any pointers in working with young children with special needs when teaching science? What types of experiments do you find most effective? Which should I steer away from teaching them?
Thanks!
Bridgette
Hi Bridgette,
Kindergarters are exciting to teach. They love to explore their world through their senses. I would encourage you to give them opportunities to get outside so their curious minds have a chance to activate. I've also included some NSTA links to support this effort. Enjoy!
