Hello!
My name is Kaylee and I am a preservice teacher from Wartburg College. I am taking a science methods course and an early childhood course right now, and I was thinking about the connections between them. My science methods course stresses hands-on activities, and my early childhood course stresses parent or family involvement in the classroom. I am looking for suggestions on the best ways to combine these ideas to include parents or families in hands-on learning for students. Is there anything that you have seen or heard of that allows families to build upon STEAM education at home?
