Do you have some great, simple ideas of STEM activities that can be done at home with children...either by parents and/or grandparents? :)
You can do simple building challenges with skinny pretzel rods and marshmallows, read 3 Billy Goats Gruff and design a new bridge or boat or hot air balloon for the billy goats to get across the water safely.
I forgot about these. https://www.homesciencetools.com/hydraulic-machines-4-in1-pack
read the book Dogzilla and have children create a "dog bone slinger" as a solution to the problem in the book. materials: rubber bands, popsicle sticks, glue or duct tape, cardboard scraps, small dixie cups, wire hanger.
My son and I were just looking at YouTube videos about how to make some of these hydraulic mini-machines. Thanks for the tip.
