Physical Science and ACT prep

I've never been overly excited about getting assigned to teach physical science just because it's not one of my favorite disciplines.  That is until I enjoyed an ACT training where they enlightened me that 6-14 ACT science questions are from physical science and that most students have exposure to some physical science before the ACT but if they weren't engaged meaningfully there may not be a lot of content knowledge that was gained.

I was asked to teach physical science this summer.  My perspective was renewed from the ACT training so I put in a lot of positive energy paired with an excellent and engaging curriculum to make the standards approachable to my students.  Any opportunity to help students with measurements, reading and interpreting graphs, reading comprehension tips to make it seem less impossible helps students both in the current discipline on their schedule as well as on the ACT.

Yes, I truy agreed on that. It's the same situation with my students.
