I am currently in school to become an elementary school teacher. I know a lot of schools where I live have the teachers teach all subjects. What do you find to be the most challenging part of teaching elementary school science? What suggestions do you have to address these challenges?

The most challenging thing about teaching science in elementary school is finding the time to teach it. One of the best ways to address this is to integrate it into other subjects when possible. Here is a link to a forum in the Elementary Science entitled "No Time for Science". It has a lot of great ideas that may help you. Good luck in your career. http://learningcenter.nsta.org/discuss/default.aspx?tid=9X3zCTVSTiU_E#41228
