Hi Miriam,
I finished the Solar System SciPack two weeks ago. Personally, SciPacks are difficult for me, but very worthwhile in the end. They are packed with information, facts and interactive elements which really help drive home the topic of study and give me ideas of how to introduce topics to my students. (You should probably know that I am certified to teach Math, but the line I teach requires me to teach one science class, as well. So, I am sort of "relearning" all the science I had in high school through the SciPacks.) If you are a qualified science teacher, though, you shouldn't have much trouble at all with the SciPacks. If you're like me, and not very science-minded, I'd recommend going through the slides with pencil and paper in hand and taking notes as you go. Thankfully, we are given three chances to pass the exam at the end, so if you don't pass the first time, you have a chance to brush up on your weak areas. All the hard work really pays off in the end. My confidence level during science class has increased dramatically and I feel more confident that I'm giving my students the information they require and can answer their questions effectively.
I hope this helps! Good luck with your Solar System SciPack!
