There will be a nice total eclipse of the Moon (what the media have come to call a 'blood moon') on the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 8th, visible from all over North America. Alas, it happens in the 'middle of the night,' which means any students who stay or wake up for it will be very sleepy in school. I have attached an information sheet I wrote for my college-level non-science students, which gives the times for each time zone and more on how to view and what's happening. Will you mention this to your students, or is the risk of sleep-deprived kids the next day too big?
