For the last year and a half, our students have been experiencing many inconsistencies within their education. Spring of 2020, many students abruptly went to online classes for the remainder of the semester. A majority of schools were not prepared for this transition leaving the remainder of the semester with students not learning about topics as thoroughly as they should have. This also became a challenge to assist diverse student needs. Students started school again in the fall of 2020 in a hybrid format. Many students were logging onto their classes virtually or completing assignments remotely. As schools have transitioned back into in-person learning, schools have faced shutdowns and chronic absences from both students and staff. We are now seeing the effects of the pandemic, online learning, and inconsistency within the education system. Going forward, how can we create a more consistent environment for our students amidst the pandemic, everchanging mandates, and absences?
