It is well known that science can be a difficult subject to introduce children to, with all the different types of ways to create experiments or hands-on activities the safety of the child is most at stake. Do you think it is important to trust the students at an earlier age or should they wait until they are at a mature age to be introduced to new science materials.

I contemplate that science shoud be introduced at a young age for the reason that it can better assist children construct their understandings as well as provide the opportunities to develop skills such as problem solving. Therefore activities and experiments best suiting their age should be implemented or accomondated in opposed to utilizing lab equipment consisting of beakers, and bunsen burners that may be dangerous.

Science should be introduced in an early age, starting with the basics and fun activities. This will benefit them in learning in an early age and have a better chance to love science when older. When going to middle school is important to start explaining about lab saftey, equipment, do's and dont's. Children's safety should always come first, no matter what.
