I'm a new teacher, and will be teaching AP Environmental Science next year. I would like to collaborate with a local land trust in order to gain access to nearby plots of land for field trips. This trust has agricultrual land and forested land, and would be ideal for applying ecological concepts with my students.
Does anyone have experience collaborating with organizations such as these?
Are there any speed bumps, legal or otherwise I should lookout for?
