Hello, I am a preservice teacher at Wartburg college. I was wondering how many of you currently have a science period in your elementary classroom and how many have to incorporate it through cross-curricular lessons. I know we talk a lot in class about how science is becoming less relevant in the classroom and I wanted to reach out to see who still has time in their schedule for science. If you don't have a select time, what steps do you as a teacher take to ensure your students are still getting as much science as possible? Can you provide lesson ideas for incorporating it into other subjects? Thank you!
