Hello there!
I am still working for my certification so I won't be able to give advice from real experience, however, from my observations in elementary school and my conversations with the teachers there I think I could contribute a bit.
A big issue is obviously keeping the children interested and of course, to do this some easy advice is to continue to search for various interactive activities when introducing new concepts.
Also as a little side note, one of the major things that I heard in the conversations is that you should express yourself in a cheerful and intrigued manner. No one will pay attention to the teacher that in the future will only be remembered by making them fall asleep with their voice.
