There are so many ways to introduce science to young students. One important thing to teach them that also heavily relates to science is to teach them about the seasons. Starting with an easy topic can help them further comprehend more complex science concepts when they get older. It is important to start a foundation for science as young as possible. In the early elementary years, children learn and focus the best when you teach with experiments. This will help them become excited about science class and keep wanting to learn more.
Well stated Julianna!
I start the year's investigations using our science tools - the five senses!
I agree with you Robin, the 5 senses is a great place to start with elementary school kids!
