Hi everyone, I am getting ready to teach a group of fifth grade teachers form my school district and are looking at any literature connections to the Earth Science topic of shadows and moon phases. Any ideas would be appreciated!

What makes a great shadow sounds like an interesting book. I'm definitely going to read through it.

You might want to use the Stellarium planetarium software to explore moon phases. It is similar to Starry Night Backyard, but free. I use it in addition to a moon journal activity with my 6th grade. You can download it at www.stellarium.org
