Greetings,
Are you a pre-service or seasoned high school teacher who is planning on teaching or currently teaching about climate change? Are you grappling with how to explore this topic with your students, knowing that it may bring up a variety of emotions for you and your students? Our team is seeking high school teachers from across the US to participate in a focus group that will gather information about their experiences, barriers, and needs related to their own climate mental health and in supporting their student’s climate mental health. To participate, teachers must have experience teaching about climate change topics in their classrooms. Participating teachers will join a 90 minute online focus group and will receive $150 for participating in the study. Focus group dates and times will be determined based on participants’ schedules.
If you are a high school teacher who would like to participate in this focus group, please fill out this 10 min application survey here by September 26th.
