Hey All~ We recently have moved to a new building. Instead of placing all science teachers together, to share equipment, we have been spread over a 2 block range. Also, our equipment and chemicals have been spread from a central location to individual teacher's rooms. Do any of you have an inventory sheet that you use and could share to track where equipment and chemicals are located? Thanks!
Our school had the same issue - but not as far a distance as yours! We ended up making portable kits for different experiments/activities and used an online Google sheets document that listed them. We would write our names beside the kits we had in our classroom. Worked ok.

Does your institution have an online inventory system like MSDSOnline? That would help you track current location as users can change the storage location in the system when it is moved so you know where to go to find the inventory item. A free option would be to build a spreadsheet to document this information in a shared drive.
