This semester I have a 6-month-old baby boy. Online classes it gives me ease because I do not have to find a baby sitter. But breastfeeding and zoom sessions do not exactly go together. It is also difficult to make sure I keep up on deadlines with a life that is dependent on me. He also gives me all the motivation in the world to work hard so he can have a great childhood!

Kudos to you for being able to take care of your baby and work at the same time, from the same place.

I think that the fact you're still in school while having a 6-month-old baby is wonderful. If you are having trouble meeting deadlines, I believe that you can let your professors know what is going on. Most professors are understanding and will help you by being felxible with their deadlines. I hope you have an amazing rest of your semester!

Mass online learning is something that no one could have predicted, but I believe that it is a blessing in disguise for many of us. Online learning has provided opportunities for me to be more flexible with my schedule and to be able to stay at home with loved ones. Although there is a lot of frustrating components, it is rewarding in the end. I think it is great that you are braving online learning with a young baby depending on you!

What a crazy, exciting time!! Congratulations on your new baby boy! Online learning is new for all of us, so flexibility and communication are key. I am sure that your professors will be understanding of your situation as long as you communiacte with them. I hope that you have a great semester as you learn to navigate the craziness of online learning and motherhood. Hang in there, momma!

I agree it is alot more convenient to be home with our children while we progress through our classes so we dont have the extra worry of finding a sitter, but it is also inconvenient when they need thier basic needs meet.

I think that it is awesome that you are able to continue learning even with a baby! Your child will be so proud when they hear how hard you worked for you education.
