During my observation at elementary schools, I have noticed that most of the day is taken up by math and literacy instruction. There is not much time left for teaching science. Are there ways to incorporate science into these other subjects? Are there examples or activities?

Yes! (: I think reading is a great way to incorporate science because you can read a story or informational book and then discuss it with the students. Science can be a difficult subject to incorporate, but I think reading is the best place to try and incorporate science!
