Hey everyone,
I taught in a 6th grade classroom this past year, and I really like to have my students do a lot of hands-on activities that align with the PEs we are pursuing in class to use as performance assessments. This last year, however, the shutdown took away a lot of my go-to assessment activities that aligned with our curriculum schedule because students didn't have access to classroom supplies or resources.
I was wondering if you all had any helpful tools, resources, or websites that you found useful this past semester while we were remote learning? Specifically, online venues that allow students to use manipulatives or provide other ways for them to demonstrate their understanding? I've used google forms, docs, and drawings for the majority of my assessments but there are a lot of limitations to what students can do to show what they know with those resources. Any information about how you set up labs, demonstrations, or performance assessments inn an online setting would be extremely helpful!
Thanks in advance!
