When teaching elementry science is it best to use direct instruction or inquiry based instruction. And how do you also know when you can fully move on to the next topic knowing the students have mastered the pervious one taught?
I think the best way to know is when they can verbally explain it to you at that age. Once they have their questions answered is when I feel you can move on.
