Designing Healthy Ice Pops

Has anyone used the 'Designing Healthy Ice Pops' lesson? (See below) It looks interesting and wanted some feedback before planning the lesson. If not, does anyone have a lesson where students create a healthy dish?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a great activity!  Two thoughts:

(1) Beware of recipes that add sweeteners (honey, agave, etc.).  If you add sweeteners, they become less healthful.

(2) Related language trivia:  People are losing the distinction between the words healthy and healthful
Healthy means 'in good health,' as in 'Having recovered from my illness, I am now healthy again.'
Healthful means 'promoting good health,' as in 'healthful sleep' or 'a healthful diet.'

I look forward to making -- and eating -- the healthful ice pops!
