I am in my first student teaching semester. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, and wondering if anyone has any tips or advice.
I feel the same way! My student teaching is very overwhelming and I feel no matter how organized I am I seem to always forget something. Please help with advice
Hi! I'm also a student teacher finishing up my first semester. It must be part of the process because I definitely remember feeling overwhelmed and lost. Coming to the end of the semester, I can say I feel much more comfortable. My advice would be to communicate with your Guide Teacher as much as possible; knowing what's going on in the classroom as early as possible is always helpful. Since my guide teacher does his lesson plans online, he sends them to me as soon as he's done making them. This makes it easier for me to prepare for the week and plan.Hope it helps!
