STEM Night?

Hi all, I am preparing for our annual STEM night, but we are lacking on presenters for the kids to talk to and explore. Has anyone drafted a letter as a "Call for Presenters" that was sent home to families? If you have and wouldn't mind sharing what that looks like, that would be great! I work in an elementary school, K-5.

I'm surprised you have to write up something. Have you tried just calling the parents or asking the PTO for help?

I don't but I am interested. We do a Math night at our school but I think it would be great to do a STEMs Night. Can you tell me how you set up your STEMS Night?

A great resource is available at www.family engineering.org. They have a fantastic book that has everything you need. We also co-authored an article in Science and Children on our Family STEM night.http://static.nsta.org/files/sc1204_67.pdf Our website also has a blog on holding a STEM night. www.getcaughtengineering.com Hope this helps. Wendy
