Science teachers number one priority should always be the students safety. When doing science experiments teachers should consider the policy & procedures and information about the different hazards. The policy & procedures should explain the limitations of walkie talkies, inappropriate clothing, medical concerns, etc. Students need to learn information about the importance of different harzards such as biological hazards, chemical hazards, and physical hazards. Biological hazards are any species present that may be harmful to others such as mold/mildew, poisonous plant and harmful animals. Chemical hazards are hazards that occur when there's history of pesticides and herbicide use. Physical hazards are present trash or things that can cause you to trip and fall. These are great way to promote safer science learning environment.
I completely agree with you. The teacher has to be more careful when Pre-K and high school kids are around.
PreK and HS...now there's a combination.
