We know that 'My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nachos' is used to recall the planet's positions. How can a teacher teach the Solar System so that the planets' colors are inculcated in the minds of the students?
Hello, I am a pre-service teacher in Iowa in Science Methods at Wartburg College. Create visual posters of the planets and then your students can see the differences between each of the planets. These could be hung out around the classroom to be able to see the planets all the time in the classroom.
Hello Allie, I think it is amazing how you stated that having lots of visuals in the classroom is a great way for students to rememebr the planets as well as seeing the differences between all of them. I also wanted to include that finding a catchy song/ dance about the planets is also a great way for students to learn the order of the Solar system for those students who aren't much of visual learners but more of an auditory learner.
