Hi everyone! I'm a senior at The University of the Rio Grande Valley preparing to become a teacher in elementary education. Science has always been my favorite subject to learn and now, it will be my favorite subject to teach. Keeping students engaged is key to teaching any subject and can sometimes be a struggle in teaching. What are some recommendations on effective ways to keep students engaged when teaching science?

Hello Marlen, I believe that the best way to engage students in science lessons is to look for lessons or practices that are related to their personal interests. Just like you can do hands-on lessons, they have fun while learning and it motivates them to want to explore more.
