How can I create a comfortable environment for every student and make science fun but at the same time make sure they are gaining knowledge from it?
Hello, Brittany, I feel like creating a comfortable environment for every student we need to make sure that the students build a positive relationship within each other. Doing fun group activities that involve science during the first week of school will help those relationships grow. As a teacher, we should always give positive feedback instead of discouraging them this will allow them to feel confident within themselves and grow.
Hello Brittany, this is a very considerate question that is important to discuss when teaching young children. One thing that I know would make the students feel more comfortable would be to try and create activities that they can closely relate to. It is importnat to appeal to their intrests to keep them engaged. Some examples can include try and connect some of your lessons and instruction with science experiment that include painting, toy cars, arts and crafts, or any other form your students find engaging, while also applying your lesson.
Hello I want to make sure that students are seen in the classroom by getting to know them individually. Remembering small details such as a favorite food or color will help them feel respected and important. This will allow them to feel comfortable while learning.
