I am a pre-service teacher who has recently been introduced to using workshops in science lessons. I would love to hear your success stories, ideas, not-so-successful stories or advice related to using workshops in science lessons, or any lessons for that matter. I hope to teach grades first through third, but I am open to hearing all and any advice!

Could you please describe what you consider a "workshop" to be exactly? It is a term many of us are not familiar with. We can be of more help if we know what it is.
