Living vs. Non-Living Lesson

I am creating a lesson plan for Kindrgarten over living and non-living organisms. Does anyone have a good idea(s) for a book or video that can be read/played to the class to engage them or add to the lesson in general? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi Greer!

I found this article in the Learning Center about a first grade class learning how to classify living and non-living organisms:

https://common.nsta.org/resource/default.aspx?id=10.2505%2f4%2fsc11_048_08_27

While it does not talk about a video or a book, I wonder if the thought of going outside to the playground to complete a science lesson may be engaging/exciting for your students. Let me know what you think!
