I know students learn differently and some would benefit from hands-on material, but when is a good time to introduce hands-on activities?
Hi there! i feel that its best to incorporate hands on when possible! There is science in everything we do, so if we kind of show them that, everything they do is 'hands-on' and they will make scientific connections with real world senarios!
The best time to introduce hands-on activities would be as young as possible. Introducing hands-on activities to young children will help them with their motor and fine motor skills. Hands-on activities can also give the child a chance for growth and development.
I believe that introducing hands-on material as soon as you can is a good time. Students of all ages benefit from hands-on materials, especially P-2 students. This allows them to be engaged during the activity.
There is no right or wrong age. Children learn and grow best when they are able to actively participate in the learning process by using all of their senses. One of the best methods for kids to learn new things, especially in the early years, is through doing, and this is especially true when it comes to play-based learning.
Hello, I have found it's best to incorporate hands-on material as much as we can. Students tend to learn better if they are actively engaging in what they are learning (including hands-on manipulatives).
