Hi everyone,
I am currently teaching a unit to 9th graders about Energy! At the end of my unit, I will be teaching about energy resources. I saw a commercial on TV the other day advertising that Exxon Mobil is now harvesting biofuel from algae. I want to incorporate this current event into my lesson plan. Does anyone have any suggestions for incorporating this into an activity or research-based lesson? All suggestions are welcome and appreciated!
Not sure about a full lesson but a great hook for the activity would be some fotage of the bioluminecence that is currently going on on the Souther CA coasts.
