My group is doing a STEM acivtity involving paper airplanes. Does anyone have any ideas on how to engage the students to do this activity? We usually always struggle with coming up with a hook or a lead to engage the students in our activity! Please let me know if you have any suggestions!
Thank you!

Hi Emilia,
There is a great NSTA article using paper airplanes, listed below. As for leading them into the lesson, the article suggest a KWL or starting with a discussion on engineering. You may also want to check to see if Page Keeley has a probe to begin a lesson. (Uncovering Student Ideas in Science)
Have fun!
