There are many different ways to "teach" science in the classroom. Other than using a textbook and saying "Our science lesson for today is..", I've seen subtle hints of it through using a class pet or doing a literacy unit that ties to nature or some other science topic. What I'm wondering is if it is common to have science centers. Has anyone tried them? If so, what was it like? What kinds of activities did you do? This curious mind thanks you in advance for any thoughts you may have on this subject.
