Hi all, Hope everyone is having a good start to their school year. I teach science as a specialist for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders, but my principal really wants me to focus on science-based reading comprehension. Does anyone know of any good reading comprehension resources (print outs, guided reading books, question/answer sheets) that I could use in my classroom for this? Are there any elementary textbooks filled with reading comprehension passages? Thank you so much! Adam
Hi Adam, Have you tried to look at a component of Learning A-Z called Science A-Z? I use Reading A-Z and find lots of leveled readers with science topics and biographies about scientists. I haven't tried Science A-Z but maybe you could get a free trial for their product.https://www.sciencea-z.com/ Lori
