Hi, The last few weeks of school we will be exploring plant and animal cells in our 6th grade classroom. I have seen using the crust of bread and candy for younger grades. Have you seen any other ideas for older grades? Thank you so much!!
New leaves, buds, flower parts, pieces of egg shell from newly hatched robins, are all great things to spark student interest.
If you have access to a refrigerator have them create cells using Jell-O and fruit!
