On July 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Ural Federal University for the first time as a politician and left a curious image that is going around the world.
While Putin was located next to representatives of the house of studies for the respective photo, a visibly taller young man stood below him, covering him in the shot. What would come next would leave laughter and some scares.
In seconds, a person would exchange the position of the young man for a smaller student, unleashing the laughter of the other attendees. However, there was nervousness on the Russian's face.
The Reddit post titled the video “Gulag, here we go,” referring to the forced labor camp that was active during the formation of the Soviet Union. Users commented that, possibly, 'a free trip to Siberia awaits the young man.'
