looking for a physical watershed model

Hello all, I am looking for a compact, physical model of a watershed -- a smaller version of the popular (but expensive) enviroscape model (www.enviroscapes.com). I had one of these at my last job. I was about 24" long by 12" wide by 6" high, made of plastic. It had a valley between some mountains. It had a partial cover with an indentation that was perforated into which you would place ice, which would melt and make it rain on the land. I can't find this for sale anywhere. Anyone know where I can buy this or something like it? Thanks for the help Kirk Barrett [email protected]

Have you considered having students make their own models? Also, you may be able to find an agency that would loan you one - or send someone over to show your students how to use it.

I had students make their own models this past year and I made my own out of sand, water, ice, saran wrap, a kettle and it was awesome!
